We will have many opportunities to take fantastic photos, maybe see koalas and kangaroos in the wild and surfers along the way. We stop for a light lunch in the town of Apollo Bay. The road leaves the coast and crosses the Otway Ranges National Park, this 13,000 hectar forest is home to ancient ferns small marsupials and many species of birds. We enjoy a rainforest walk. Visit the Twelve Apostles and Loch Ard Gorge, the site of one in hundreds of shipwrecks along the southern coast of Australia. Other stops include London Bridge and Bay of Islands. After arriving in Warrnambool we check in at our accommodation for the night.

DAY 2: WARRNAMBOOL / GRAMPIANS / MELBOURNE
After breakfast we leave Warrnambool and visit Tower Hill Reserve – an extinct volcano – where we may see emus and other Australian wildlife. We continue our drive north to discover the magic of Geriwerd (Grampians), one of Victorias’s most beautiful National Parks. This land was inhabited by the Djab Wurrung and Jardwadjali people for 25000 years. We visit the Aboriginal Cultural Centre of Brambuk to learn more of the strong link between the people and the land. After lunch we enjoy magnificent views from Boroka and Reeds Lookouts, visit the balconies and MacKenzie Falls (good level of fitness required to climb up and down the stairs).
